Exporting Query Results

Exporting insights allows users to share data, conduct offline analysis, and integrate insights into external reports. The system offers two methods of exporting results: CSV export for tabular data and image export for charts.

Exporting Data as a CSV File

Best for: Users who need raw data for further processing in spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.

Steps to Export CSV:

1. Open the Insight you wish to export.
2. Locate the Export icon at the top of the data section, positioned between the database icon and the thumbs-up icon.
3. Click on the Export button.
4. The system will generate and download a CSV file containing the insight’s data.

Saving Chart Visualizations as an Image

Best for: Users who want to include charts in presentations, reports, or share visual insights.

Steps to Save a Chart as an Image:

1. Open an Insight that uses a chart visualisation.
2. Right-click on the chart.
3. Select the option to Save Image As.
4. Choose a save location and store the chart as a PNG file.
