Visualising data through charts helps uncover patterns, trends, and insights more effectively. Every visualisation starts with a natural language query, which retrieves data that can then be formatted into different chart types. The platform provides flexible customszation options to tailor charts to specific analytical needs.

 

Step-by-Step Guide to Creating a Chart

  1. Enter a Natural Language Query

    • Begin by writing a query in natural language within the query area.
    • Example: "Show total NGR by country for the last 6 months."

  1. Review Default Table Format

    • By default, results will be displayed in a tabular format.

 

  1. Access Chart Preferences

    • Click on Preferences to access visualization settings.

  1. Select a Chart Type

    • Choose from available chart types such as bar charts, pie charts, line charts, tree maps, and more.

 

  1. Configure Chart Settings

    • Select the legends and value columns based on the data.
    • Apply any additional options available for the selected chart type.

 

  1. Set as Default Visualization (Optional)

    • To make the selected chart the default for this insight, ensure the checkmark for the chart option is selected.

  1. Save the Insight

    • Click Save to store the visualization, making it accessible for future reference.
